A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, the 2000 is an elegant, nicely textured, smoky, sweet wine offering scents of caramels intermixed with black currants, cherries, cedar, and licorice. Chateau Gloria 2000 St Julien half Bottle.An excellent complex, evolved, and deliciously fruity effort, this medium-bodied 2000 exhibits sweet, herb-tinged, cassis fruit, cedar, and spice box notes along with abundant glycerin and flesh. Very deep, almost opaque robe. Very intense, spicy, complex, refined nose, in which mingle red and black berry aromas (blackberries, cherries and Morello cherries) alongside liquorice, coffee and vanilla notes.
